Okay

Posted Jan 6 2004 by in Personal with Comments Off

Total for today is currently 1108 words.

It is now raining down snow pellets. Should turn into freezing rain later this evening. Ain't expected to go away until late tonight.

Glad I decided to call off work. Wasn't looking forward to sliding on my butt all the way to work and home.

2004 – My next most productive year

So far, I’m at 1600 words in two days. I’ve just finished signing up for the Forward Motion January / February Dare. I’m having my usual (*snicker*):

1) Word Count / Apprentice: 1000/day for 60 days

2) New Novel / Master: 8 chapters of 1000 words each

3) World Building / Master: 8000 words of new material

While I may have posted my 2004 Goals before, I’m going to do it again:

1) Hopefully see Tiopa Ki Lakota edited and in print.

2) Edit one novel (On Azrael’s Wings or CyberEpic) and submit it to my publisher.

3) Write the third Sanguire novel, The False Side of Shadow.

4) Edit the Sanguire series and submit it to a mainstream publisher.

5) Write a total of 12 short stories for the year, any genre.

2003 – My most productive year

And I can blame it all on Forward Motion!

I finished writing On Azrael’s Wings, edited and published Castle Walls, edited and submitted Tiopa Ki Lakota, wrote a short called Rude Awakenings, got halfway through two Slow Movin’ shorts, wrote two Sanguire novels – Born of Silence and Angels Deserve to Die – completely revamped my website, and put in hours and hour of world building.

Whew!

The grand total word count for the year is – drumrolll please! – 326,002 words in 2003! WOOT!

Going over my word count spread sheet, I find that I did NOT write on 134 days. If I had put out 1k each of those days, my year end total would have been 460k! I’m a SLACKER! That’s a whole ‘nother novel!

It's SNOWING!
