Margaurethe
Published February 25th, 2004 in Sanguire SeriesApparently, Margaurethe isn't just upset about the whole 'I've fucked up and my lover's giving me the mental cold shoulder' thing. She has a pretty solid concern that Jenna will be subjugated by Elisibet's memories, taken over, possessed as it were. Then Jenna would be no more, leaving behind the Sweet Butcher of the European Sanguire to revel in this modern day of common violence.
Scary thought, huh?
While that's not my aim in this book, it is an idea I had for another. (The ol' 'Jenna gets amnesia and only has Elisibet's memories' thing.)
But I can't tell Margaurethe that. She wouldn't listen to me, anyway. I'm a figment of her imagination. Like she'd actually believe that all her thoughts and actions and feelings were something I conjured up! Please!
OH! And 9 days, 20 hours and 56 minutes until the Iditarod.
