In Shadows

My brain is mush today. By removing the kidnapper sub plot, I've had to rearrange my outline, delete some things, add in some others. I'm not prepared to write the next scene, yet. I haven't seen it in my mind's eye. *sigh* At least I got a total of 1698 words yesterday. If I pump out 300 words today, I'll still be on schedule for February. I'm hopelessly behind on January, though - by four thousand words.

Looks like I won’t make the word count Dare at Forward Motion this time. No biggie. In my defense, I had to spend a week editing Tiopa Ki Lakota. Plus I did finish the New Novel - Master level with 12 chapters instead of 8, and the World Building - Master level with 10k instead of 8k.

Tired. Maybe I should take a nap.

Watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Terminator 2: Extreme Edition last night. The first was okay. I don’t know. Just wasn’t quite my cup of tea. The second is one of my favorite movies (A buff and tuff Linda Hamilton? Grrroooowwwl!) I got it to see the additional scenes, and was quite pleased with them. Today I’m going to watch the Bonus Disc, and then pack it all up to send to NetFlix tomorrow.

Surprisingly enough, I find myself missing the email RPG I used to belong to. Unfortunately, I still don’t have time to waste on the thing. I work most nights, and I need to concentrate on the real writing. Maybe it’s a lack of connection. I dunno.

*yawn*

Maybe I'm just bloomin' tired! LOL!
